Clifford Parish Council was saddened to hear the announcement from Buckingham Palace that His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh has died.
His passing will be felt by many residents and he will be remembered for decades of service to his country. In particular, he will be remembered for establishing the Duke of Edinburgh Award which has had a significant impact on the lives of many young people.

Residents are invited to lay floral tributes at Clifford War Memorial. As flowers will be composted after the funeral please ensure that all materials are biodegradable and any plastic wrappings removed.
