There are three vacancies on the Parish Council that can be filled by co-option. The Parish Council is responsible for managing many of the open spaces in Clifford, including Clifford Community Sports Ground, Northways Playing Field, and St Edwards Wood. The Parish Council has a Traffic Management Working Group which is preparing a traffic management plan for Clifford and a Planning Working Group which comments on all planning applications submitted to Leeds City Council. As a Parish Councillor you can help your local community and play a role in protecting and developing the facilities managed by the Council.
The Council normally meets on the third Wednesday of the month and is looking for residents who can demonstrate an enthusiasm to serve their local community. If you are interested please contact:
