The magazine, published at the turn of each month, is run by a voluntary committee and delivered free to every home in the parish by a team of volunteer distributors. It carries news of village events, articles by residents, advertisements for local businesses, public notices, etc. and ‘articles for sale’ (£1 per item). It is financed entirely by advertising. All material must be received by noon on the 15th of the month (including Saturday and Sunday)prior to the issue in which it is to appear.

I would just like to say that the article about the War Memorial in the may issue caught my interest as the gentleman carrying the wreath is George Hammond, my grandad. I was always lead to believe that he had a lot to do with the Memorial. He was a Stonemason and at the time was also landlord of the Greyhound public house. As you are having a meeting about the War Memorial I thought that you would like to know about this fact.
Kind regards, P. Hudson
